As a small business owner, you don’t ever really have “one role”. I quickly learned this supporting a founder of a contemporary art gallery and retail business, to subsequently co-running the company for ten years. My norm has always been adapting to and switching between many differing functions, and don't get me started on what an ordinary day looks like as there's no such thing!
